Managing a workload with a value in excess of £10 Million per year.

My primary responsibility is to create fully dimensioned technical installation drawings from designer’s concept drawings, ensuring they meet the relevant British standards.

Creating detailed installation instructions for bespoke units.

Ensure quotations are done correctly and when creating installation drawings ensuring that any possible cost savings are made.

I am the primary source of technical support to both colleagues and clients.

I am responsible for most of the administration of the IT system in conjunction with an IT support company.

I have joint responsibility in sourcing products and suppliers and assist in the development of existing product ranges.

I have joint responsibility for identifying engineering faults in existing products and creating drawings that assist in the correction of these faults.

I have put in place numerous practices to eradicate different problems encountered in both the design and installation process, including creating a standard set of drawing standards and practices.

Since the departure of the marketing manager, whom I assisted over the past 3 years, have become jointly responsible for creating marketing materials and organising exhibitions that the company attend.

May 2009 to Present:
Freelance Marketing Advisor – Yeovil Town Football Club

In May 2009 I was approached by Yeovil Town Football Club to produce the Testimonial Match Day Programme for Terry Skiverton. I then became involved in creating some marketing material including leaflets and posters advertising facilities and events that the club offer. In conjunction with the hospitality manager I then started a new project to produce a guide for fixtures and events at the club, the first edition of which has been published and distributed and the second edition is due to be published in the new year. I am also in the process of creating a brand book and consistent brand identity for the football club to use, having seen them using many different designs to convey their brand identity in past marketing materials.


March 2003 to April 2006:
Play Space Designer / Estimator – Hags Play Ltd

Responsible for the costing and design of play areas from conception through to installation.

The design process includes taking a project brief from the area sales manager and from this creating detailed quotations for clients, presentations for public consultation and fully dimensioned drawings for installation.

Checking all designs are to the relevant standards for play areas as set out by the british standards institute.

Clients include a wide variety of both public sector and private companies and individuals.

Assisting in the creation of technical manuals for use in the aircraft and aviation industry, including all matters regarding layout, content and presentation, working to ATA 100 style guides.

Assisting in the creating of installation manuals for key clients including Mira Showers.

Contacting existing and new customers regarding their needs from the business.

Assisting with any design related query customers may have.

Designing documentation advertisements and stationary for recruitment agency within County Group Services.

Keeping detailed records regarding the current status of tasks undertaken and dealing with general office administration.

Communicating with other services to gain a greater understanding of the industry in which I was working.
